The Kite Runner

Is a really good book and I'd reccommend it lots :P It delves into the issues faced by, immigrants who immigrate to America from Afghanistan, and the loss in power/status they suffer when they do so: one of the characters was a General in Afghanistan, and he ended up on welfare benefits upon moving to America. The book also demonstrates the problem of class segregation, even within a country, between the servants and the masters. Blah blah blah, I'm rubbish at writing these summaries, kthxbai

All in all a really good read ^_^
